Chakras

Our bodies are made up of energy. There are seven energy centers located throughout the body called chakras. In a healthy person, the seven chakras work in unison to create this life force energy. The body, mind, and spirit benefit from balanced chakras.

Have you ever felt "butterflies in your stomach", your "heart ache," you just had a "feeling"or felt so anxious that you were going to be sick, but did not know why? These feelings can cause an imbalance within us. If these feelings are left unchecked they will eventually lead to chronic illness. As we live our lives it is normal for us to experience various emotions on a daily basis. These emotions affect our chakras. When we acknowledge that we are having these emotions and learn why we are feeling the way we do, then we are better able to keep our body in balance.

Keeping your chakras in balance is an on-going activity. As we recognize our emotions and are able to determine why we are feeling a certain way we get to better know ourselves. Each chakra represents a different emotion that affects a physical part of our body. For example, a feeling of not being safe or secure stems from your root chakra. One of the areas it could physically affect is your skeletal structure. So if you are having bone issues, then you should be looking at how to put your root chakra back into balance.

Meditations, how you think; as well as what you eat affects how the connectiveness in your body functions. They help to keep your energy flowing freely. There are also certain stones that aid in the balancing of the chakras. Below is a brief summary of the types of stones and foods that can help us keep our body balanced and in good health.
